BITUMAX Pro allows fully automatic performance of binder content determination of asphalt mixes by ignition method, conforming to most common international standards.
BITUMAX Pro combines an ignition oven with a continuous weighing system that monitors the loss of weight of the asphalt sample and automatically determines, at the end of the test, the binder content and percentage. An independently controlled auxiliary afterburner chamber significantly reduces the furnace emissions.
Ignition ovens offer an effective alternative to traditional solvent extraction method. Ignition oven is a fast system that, typically in less than 40 minutes, is able to automatically provide the binder content both on the mix and on the aggregate mix in a fully safe way, without the need of use solvents. BITUMAX Pro grants a high operativity because practically maintenance free, both at the end of the single test or at the end of the test day.
The completely new color touchscreen provides a large and clear interface for daily tests. All the test parameters are clearly displayed in real time, for a clear monitoring of the test process. At the end of the tests the binder content is automatically calculated, and it can be exported to PC, or stored in the large internal memory, or printed with the inbuilt serial printer. All the test, service and calibration procedures are designed to grant a full safety for the operator, to avoid accidental contact with hot parts.
BITUMAX Pro is supplied complete with a complete accessory kit making the machine completely suitable for binder content tests. The kit includes double sample basket, safety cover, extraction fork and 3 meters of metal exhaust ducting for fume exhaust.
